Dresses to wear to a Summer Wedding

Dresses to wear to a Summer Wedding

Look gorgeous, feminine & Sophisticated

We all know how difficult it is to find the perfect dress for a wedding. Sometimes it is even harder than finding a bride dress.

Dressing for a summer wedding can be very challenging if we take into account the heat. Finding a dress that looks great and at the same time won’t keep you to warm can be a tedious job. But don’t worry I have recompiled my favorite and approved summer wedding dresses that will make you the most fashionable and stylish of the guests

 Yellow Dresses

Yellow is a great color for a summer wedding. Just take Amal Clooney as an example and the gorgeous yellow dress she wore to the Duchess of Sussex wedding. So if she wore this color you should definitely give it a try.

If you’re not very tan, a mustard yellow will look amazing on you. On the other hand, if you have a good tan bright yellow is a great option that will definitely attract the spotlight.

Silk Dresses

The safest choice is always a “silk” satin dress. Keep it simple and add lots of accessories. Big earrings, bracelets or necklaces look great with this kind of dresses.

Floral Dresses

One of the biggest trends this season are flowers and the best thing is that you will keep seen a lot of it this A/W season. So if you have several weddings this summer or early autumn, investing in a floral dress is a safe purchase.

This pattern is great for a day wedding more than for an evening wedding. Each of these dresses is a great outfit for a summer wedding. If you like flowers definitely add one of these pieces to your weddings wardrobe.

Fringes & Sequins

The perfect dress for a summer evening wedding has to have sequins or fringes or both of them. I love how these patterns add sophistication and elegance to what it could be a simple dress. Caftans are also a great option if you don’t feel like wearing something tight and just want to keep yourself cool.

Red Dresses

Red is always a great option. Everybody looks great in this color. You just have to find the shade that best matches your skin tone. If you are really white avoid bright red shades and instead opt for darker shades. on the contrary to darker skins which look great in bright red.

Midi dresses have the perfect length for a wedding dress. You don’t want to go to short or too long. Always keep the length some cm underneath the knees. That is the perfect length.

Cut out Dresses

If you want to show a little bit more skin cut out dresses are a great option. You should never show too much skin but open dresses can be very feminine and at the same time “rebel”. Open back dresses or keyholes are great choices for an evening wedding.

Dots

And last but not least we have dots my favorites of all time. These dresses are perfect for a day wedding. Sophisticated, elegant and feminine. Plus you can wear a white dress as long as the dots are black or navy.
