What to wear to work in the Summer

Beat the heat with style

Dressing for work when the heat approaches can sometimes become a very tedious task. All you can think about is of wearing a pair of shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt.

Dressing for work in the summer doesn’t have to be that complicated if you keep these basics in your mind.

The always favorite shirt

There is a reason why the white shirt is considered the eternal classic. Because everyone looks good in it, without exception. However, if you are bored of always wearing a white shirt. Try playing a little bit with it and look for interesting details to add to it. Blues and yellows are also a safe choice.

The perfect length skirt

Midi length skirts are surprisingly flattering and easy to wear. Tuck in your shirt and a pair of flats or even kitten heels and you are ready to go. The great about the midi skirt is that it is super easy to combine and will always make you look more sophisticated and work appropriate.

Keep your eyes in the shoes

If you work in an office where open-toe sandals are allowed. Then don’t think about it twice and go for it. Kitten heels are the safest and more comfortable choice.

It is all in the Accessories

Probably you’ve heard it a thousand times. But what makes an outfit go from simple to sophisticated and elegant is how you accessorize it. When dressing for work you don’t want to wear too many accessories but a couple of necklaces and a statement pair of earrings are the perfect accessories for a workday.

Lastly, have fun combining different colors, textures, and patterns. Summer is the time to have some fun with your clothes and find new combinations that will look great and at the same time keep you cool. Because we all know, everything you’re going to be thinking about is the pool or the beach.

If you don’t see it clearly yet and would like to know how to combine it. Here is my idea of what to wear to work in Summer. Also, since it is sales time take advantage of them and find great deals that can help you update your work wardrobe.
