What to wear when transitioning from Summer to Fall
What to wear in Fall to rock this season
We all know how hard can be to know what to wear on those September days even in October when it is yet not too cold but it is not warm enough either. Should I wear a sweater? or just a shirt? It can be so tedious sometimes, plus you lose so much time on the mornings trying to get ready.
One of my favorite combo to wear when the weather is this weird is a knitted dress and a pair of high heels sandals. I don’t know why I’ve always loved the sandals and knitted warm dresses combos. It is like you get the best of both worlds.
Another great outfit for these days is a soft warm jumper a midi skirt. Add a pair of mules or sandals and you will have the perfect outfit to wear in fall. You need to add a summer element during these days because you know that at one point during the day it will get warm. So if you wear very warm clothes you will get super hot at one point of the day. That is why the best way to keep it cool and warm at the same time is to wear sandals.
Also, try wearing your favorite pair of jeans. I’m obsessed with straight leg jeans at the moment. With a white linen shirt a cardigan and kitten heel mules or sandals. This outfit is perfect for those lazy days where you don’t know what to wear and you’re in a rush. The great thing about this kind of looks is, that you can wear it to a dinner, an evening event or a lunch meeting.
But, if you’re looking for a more dressed up look to wear in fall. White or black knitted midi dresses are my ultimate favorite piece to wear. Just add some accessories and you will have the perfect look. Since black or white are two colors that match with all the colors have some fun with your bag and shoes. Add some mustard, burgundy, dark green or navy shoes and an animal printed bag.
And you know what is the best thing about all this? You don’t need to invest a fortune to create this kind of looks. By just changing some things you can also wear them during winter. Just swap the sandals and mules for high boots or ankle boots and you just created a whole new outfit for winter time.
Do you still think dressing for fall is really tedious? Then let me share with you my secret to master your fall looks. Layers. Layers and more layers. Just wear layers of cotton pieces this way you will keep yourself warm during the morning and when the temperatures start rising you just have to take off some layers.
Anyways, if you need some outfit inspiration to see what to wear in fall here is my look of the day. This dress is the softest, comfiest dress to wear in fall. Plus since it is kind of thick it will help hide any curve you don’t want to show.
